It’s not easy to coach Cristiano Ronaldo, says Sarri. He says he would prefer one star to leave than five players

Juventus now stand at a crossroads. There is constant speculation about the future of Cristiano Ronaldo. Many people associated with Juventus would love to sell him, but then there is the other side that completely rejects it.
The reason why many have urged Juventus to rather sell the Portuguese star is said to be the team’s over-reliance on his goals. Besides, it is said that Ronaldo is not exactly the most team player.
Maurizio Sarri, who led Juventus to the league title thanks to the goals of one of the best footballers in history, knows a thing or two about coaching Ronaldo.
“It’s not easy to be his coach. He is like a multinational company, he has personal interests that he has to reconcile with football. It goes outside the team, outside the club. I’m a coach, not a manager. But Ronaldo has the numbers,” Sarri allowed himself to be heard.
But the Lazio coach doesn’t like the fact that in recent years he has been talking about individual players rather than clubs. That’s why he also hinted that if he were at Juventus, he would rather prefer Ronaldo to leave.
“It all depends on the needs of the club. But if a club has to save money, it has to choose. For me, it is better to give up one expensive player than five or six with the same wages,” Sarri added.
