Lohoré? He has nothing to surprise me and I am glad that he is my opponent, said Pirate Krištofič
Tipsport Gamechanger is slowly approaching, we will see it at the beginning of March. One of the most anticipated matches will undoubtedly be the one between Samuel Kristofich and Alex Lohore. How does the Pirate see this challenging match?
In the Welterweight division we will see some really star names and even though the tournament has weakened after the departure of Patrik Kinceloe and Kaiko Brito, there is a lot to look forward to.
Also thanks to the familiar names, one of the most anticipated duels will be the fight between Samuel Kristofich and Alex Lohore, both of whom should have faced each other in the past at middleweight.
Now, in an interview with Kaocko.cz, the pirate has revealed how he is looking forward to his opponent and what he expects from the fight with the Frenchman living in the UK.
“I’m definitely pleased. We were supposed to meet earlier, and I think our match is very attractive for the spectators. People are interested, they want to see us against each other.
I’ve more or less studied it, so I know what I’m getting into. He has nothing to surprise me and I am glad that he is my opponent,” said Krištofič.
“Every fight starts in the stance and Alex usually likes to fight there. He’s definitely going to give it a shot, but at the same time I’m sure he’ll have a plan B. Plus, of course, even he saw that when someone beat me, it was because he managed to tie me up on the ground.
I’ll prepare for that option as well. But I don’t think fighting on the ground will be his game plan. He’smore likely to try to fight me standing up first,” he added.
He will be the underdog in the fight, but he will be all the more motivated. Moreover, even if he loses, his dream of winning the pyramid will not be completely dissolved, as he will have a great chance in the lucky looser system.
