The majority of fans wish Patrick Kinclova in the battle with Vemola
The domestic MMA scene in the last year has been mostly driven by the rivalry between the two Oktagon champions, which has reached beyond the sporting plane. The cage fight has thus turned into something much deeper, and the two rivals are even likely to clash in court.
The rivalry between the two men has spilled over into the fan community, which has split into two irreconcilable camps. As a result, we could often see clashes between fans in online discussions on social media.
Recently, however, one of the camps has been gaining a lot more ground and many more fans are now rooting for Patrik Kinclova. His opponent, Karlos Vémola, has been receiving a fair amount of criticism at every corner, especially due to his scandals and alleged harassment by the management of the Oktagon organization.
Kincl sees the loss of fans on the side of Karlos
Patrik Kincl revealed his perspective on the matter in an interview with iSport, who has obviously noticed the increase in his fans. He sees the reason in particular in his opponent and their duel is allegedly not to blame.
“I don’t think it’s purely this match, but the overall performance of Karlos,” said Kincl in an interview with Ondrej Nemec. “I think he antagonized people and it’s his own fault,” he sees the blame on the side of his rival.
“There are his various cases, now the fans didn’t take well to his opponent Matavao,” he assessed Vemola’s opponent, whom he will face just five weeks before his fight with Kincl.
He sees his Samoan opponent as easy prey for the Czech Terminator and doesn’t give him even the slightest chance that he could surprise him. He compares the chances of Matavao winning to winning the Sportka jackpot.
“On the one hand, there are Karlos’ grandiose statements, but the actions go in a completely different direction,” he says in response to his opponent’s confident statements.
The truth is that Vémola is losing a significant part of his fan base. But he has to admit that he is a master at promoting a fight that simply gets even more juice. The whole country is waiting for the battle of the two champions of the organization.
