Will the Leipzig star and Mali international head to Manchester United in the winter transfer window? According to speculations, the English club’s management is already preparing its financial resources. This promising footballer is supposed to be the main transfer acquisition of the Red Devils.

According to the latest information, Manchester United is very interested in Red Bull Leipzig midfielder Amadou Haidara. According to the Daily Mail website, United scouts will be watching the Mali international in the next two games.

And these are Leipzig’s Bundesliga fixture against Union Berlin on Friday and the Champions League match Leipzig will play against Manchester City on November 7.

The 23-year-old is highly regarded by the new Red Devils manager Ralf Rangnick, who, after all, brought Haidara to Germany in 2018. His current market value is €24 million.

United’s management is willing to send £33 million to Germany to acquire the talented midfielder in the winter transfer window.

The player himself has stated in the past that it is his dream to wear a Manchester United jersey one day. It should be noted that he scored his first Champions League goal for the English side last year. Thanks to him, Leipzig won 3:2.

Haidara played his 100th game for Leipzig at the weekend, specifically in Sunday’s home game against Leverkusen. However, the match did not go well for him and his teammates, as Red Bull lost 1:3 at home to Westphalia.

In the current season, Haidara has played in 12 Bundesliga matches, one DFB Pokal match and four Champions League matches. So far he has three goals and one yellow card, which he picked up in the eighth round against Freiburg.

United’s management has already discussed several potential reinforcements. Whether it was Declan Rice from West Ham, Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United or Aurélien Tchouaméni from Monaco, the main transfer acquisition now seems to be Haidara.

It is not too surprising, coach Rangnick not only knows the Mali international well, but also plans to make significant changes in the setup and functioning of the club.
