Carlo Ancelotti is James Rodriguez’s destiny man. He brought him to Real Madrid, then took him on loan to Bayern. When his career subsequently faded, he took his favourite player with him to Everton. He came alive again under Carletto and scored 6 goals and 4 assists.
But the Italian coach left for Real Madrid and left James at Everton. but the 30-year-old Cúcuta native no longer wants to stay on Merseyside and is looking for a way out. That could be Madrid again, only this time in the red part of the Spanish capital.
James shared a photo on his Twitter account yesterday with the caption Plus he added the emoticon “soon”. This phrase is absolutely emblematic of Atlético Madrid, something like “You’ll never walk alone” for Liverpool.
Atlético fans immediately began welcoming James to Atlético, and the Spanish media immediately began speculating about his arrival in Madrid.
James had his sights set on the Wanda Metropolitano back in 2019. When he lost the trust of Zinedine Zidane, Diego Simeone wanted to take advantage of the situation. However, Florentino Pérez did not want to strengthen the city rival and stopped the transfer at the last minute.
Now, however, James is in the possession of Everton, where he is under contract until June 2022 . He added another hint on his stream when a fan sent him a Spanish flag and James replied.
Whether the Colombian footballer is just messing with the fans or his transfer to Atlético is really imminent, we will find out in the next two weeks.
