Tomáš Souček is still waiting for a goal at the European Championship. We can’t be surprised, the tasks of defensive midfielders are different. But at West Ham, the ex-Slav captain has done the almost impossible! He scored 10 goals last Premier League season!
In the Czech national team, Soucek is involved in the midfield, covering important spaces and applying his strength in aerial duels!
Unfortunately, he hasn’t yet been able to make his mark in attacking standards, but he is showing his strength in defensive ones.
Since his debut in the national team he has played 36 matches in which he scored 7 goals. Three of them came against Estonia in this year’s World Cup qualifiers. Let’s hope that goal number 8 will come soon.
After a year and a half, Kladivar fans have literally fallen in love with Tomáš Souček and are following his performances at the Euro.
The only game where West Ham fans wish he hadn’t scored is against England.
The hard-working midfielder has had a fabulous season in the Premier League and now he is looking to build on that with the Czech team at the Euros. Finally, what goals did you like most from the edit?
