In Spain, the names of Barcelona and Real Madrid always come up. However, Atlético Madrid is by far the most active in the summer transfer market. There is also speculation about Javi Geurro, a defensive midfielder who played for Valencia last season.

Robin Le Normand has been called up to reinforce the defence. The European champion has played exclusively for Real Sociedad in the Basque Country, where he scored 2 goals as a stopper last season. There is also much speculation about former Spartan David Hanck, which is definitely good news for the Prague club as he would receive a percentage of the sale.

With a patient financial policy, Madrid can thus afford reinforcements worth up to an astronomical €250 million. A new team is literally being built and European football fans are already anxiously awaiting to see what kind of game they will present not only in the Spanish top competition, but also in the new Champions League format.
