Why is Cristiano Ronaldo sleeping 5 times a day and in the position of a baby in his mother’s womb?
Cristiano Ronaldo maintains a great physical condition even at the age of 38. The reason for this is, of course, a healthy lifestyle, but also special care to the recovery process and especially a strict sleeping regime.

Cristiano Ronaldo maintains a great physical condition even at the age of 38
Cristiano Ronaldo pays for a player who is known for his dedication regarding maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. Especially in his advanced age, this represents a key factor in maintaining himself as a professional footballer.
In particular, his guiding principles for cultivating the best possible form include a healthy and varied diet full of the most valuable nutrients and adherence to a sufficient drinking regime.
More than most other teammates, he also puts maximum effort into training units and fitness exercises.
During his career, many of his teammates have revealed that Cristiano is regularly the first to arrive at training and the last to leave.
He therefore places special emphasis on sufficient rest and recovery, which is so important for injury prevention and optimal performance.
During the day, he sleeps up to five times a day in the ‘fetal position’
Most normal people alternate sleep and wakefulness phases during the day in the form of one long sleep period mostly at night. But this is not the case with Ronald. In fact, he pays the utmost attention to sleep and his methods certainly amaze many sports fans.
In fact, the Portuguese megastar sleeps up to five times during the day in 90-minute intervals. This means that around 10:30 pm he goes to take a nap until midnight, the next sleep occurs around 3 am and then during the day in between training sessions.
Of course, there is no cell phone or television before sleep and his bedroom must be dark, quiet and cool. In addition, he reportedly sleeps in the so-called fetal position, which is actually the position of a fetus in its mother’s womb, i.e. lying on its side with its knees bent and pulled towards its body.
Some might say he is a slave to his own methods, but they are clearly working for him. At 38, most offensive players have hung up their cleats or are at least thinking about it, but Ronaldo still shows tremendous passion for the game on the pitch and an unquenchable desire to score more goals week after week.
