Borussia Dortmund welcomed Bochum to their home ground in the 13th round of the Bundesliga, with the home side scoring three goals in the first half. Two of them were scored by 17-year-old super talent Youssoufa Moukoko, who also rewrote the history of the German top flight.
Borussia entered the game very actively and the home fans did not have to wait long for the opening goal.
The first goal was really worth it. Seventeen-year-old Moukoko got to the ball before the penalty spot and didn’t hesitate too much. It ended up in the net! You can see the goal of this very talented player in the video below.
And four minutes later, the score changed again. A foul was committed by the visitors’ defender Vassilios Lampropoulos and the subsequent penalty kick was converted by Giovanni Reyna.
In the 27th minute, Bochum were able to rejoice, although not for long. With the help of video, the referee disallowed the goal due to offside.
Dortmund could have kicked another penalty in the first half, but referee Tobias Stieler went to see Danilo Teodor Soares’ foul on video and subsequently denied his decision regarding the advantage of the penalty kick.
However, even that did not deter Edin Terzic’s charges from scoring another goal. And it was 17-year-old Moukoko again, who scored for the second time in this match in the set time of the first half. It was 3:0 to Dortmund at half-time and now the second half is underway at Signal Iduna Park with the same scoreline.
Moukoko scored his sixth goal in his twelfth game of the current campaign and also has four assists. So far, the Dortmund gem has scored in duels against Freiburg, Schalke, Bayern and Stuttgart, so now he has netted two more goals against Bochum.
But that’s not all – at 17 years and 350 days, the incredible Moukoko has become the youngest player in Bundesliga history to reach the ten-goal mark.
