Video: Superhuman intervention! How did Manuel Neuer catch this?
At one time he was considered the best goalie in the world, if not history. As he gets older, Manuel Neuer is no longer considered number one, but the 36-year-old goalkeeper is proving that he is definitely not an old hand.

In the Nations League, the heavyweights were in action, with Germany welcoming Italy at home. And it was an unexpected demolition, with goals from Kimmich, Gündogan, Müller and two goals from Werner giving the Germans a 5:0 lead.
The Italians at least corrected the score in the last quarter of an hour with goals from Gnonto and Bastoni. There were seven goals, but perhaps the brightest moment came from German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
Italy raced into the attack, Politano working a pass behind the defence deftly into Neuer’s opposite shoulder. The German goalkeeper was on the ground, Politano had the goal completely uncovered.
But Neuer rose from the dead and knocked the ball off the line with an incredible leap.
The win puts Germany in second place in Group 3 of the Nations League. Hungary are surprisingly first, having demolished England 4-0. Italy is third and England in last place with two points.
