VIDEO: Son’s hat-trick seals Tottenham’s win as they chase Manchester City’s lead

Antonio Conte opted for a different tactic for Saturday’s game against Leicester, leaving only Son Heung-min on the bench. However, the Korean striker did see the pitch during the game and things happened! His hat-trick sealed the victory for Tottenham, who equalised to Manchester City’s lead.

Son is not having a great season, having only managed to make his mark on the stats once before Saturday night, namely in the opening league game against Southampton, where he notched an assist. Otherwise, however, he had been ineffective.

Even the ratings were certainly not what we have become accustomed to from him in past seasons. Against Leicester, however, he sparked his engines and shot Brendan Rodgers’ team into an even deeper crisis with a hat-trick.

Leicester, on the other hand, is at the tail of the table after 7 rounds with one point and with a daunting score of 10::22.
