Cristiano Ronaldo scored an extraordinary goal on Thursday evening. The Portuguese striker scored in the Al Wehda net, making it the 500th goal of his career! However, he scored three more times in the match.
Cristiano Ronaldo was widely criticised for his departure to Saudi Arabia. But the Portuguese made the best choice according to his conscience and showed in his first match that he still has something in him.
Ronaldo hit the PSG net twice in a friendly match while playing for the team of stars Al Hilal and Al Nassr. However, he came up empty in the next two games.
Moreover, his team fell in the Super Cup to Al Ittihad, which has already caused many fans of that club to throw him out. Last week, however, he at least partially corrected his poor form with a penalty.
On Thursday, the league returned and Ronaldo scored a truly exceptional achievement. In the 21st minute, he perfectly dealt with Abdulrahman Ghareeb’s pass and scored the first goal of the game against Al Wehda. It was also his 500th career league goal!
However, the Portuguese was not content with just one goal. He scored once more before the end of the first half, assisted by Sami Al Najei.
This time, he took advantage of a hesitation by the defence and the home goalkeeper Abdulquddus Atiah, who failed to save a shot from an angle and left the front post open.
Ronaldo’s goal for the second half was clear and when Al Nassr was given the benefit of a penalty kick, the Portuguese went on to complete his hat-trick. The goalkeeper hit the side but did not clear the ball, making the score 0-3.
And ten minutes later, the score changed again. The goal scorer was none other than Ronaldo, who was not accurate after a breakaway, but the goalkeeper knocked the ball to his feet and then had no problem hitting the open goal.
Al Nassr moved back up to first in the league after this win, which will be the talk of the town thanks to Ronaldo’s goal, with a game to spare against second-placed Al Shabab.
