VIDEO: Ronaldo scores in the Champions League and calls for a turnaround! Al Nassr is still 100 per cent thanks to this

Winning the Asian Champions League was not easy for Al Nassr. The Saudi Arabian team was 0:1 down at half-time, but turned the score around after the change of sides to 3:1. The equalizer was scored by team captain Cristiano Ronaldo.
It was not supposed to be a difficult match for Al Nassr, as Istiqlol Dushanbe was considered a big underdog. However, the Tajik club was not scared of the bigger opponent and even looked to take all three points for a long time.
Virtually the entire first half played out as expected. Al Nassr had more of the play and was dangerous, but all shots ended up on the well catching Yatimov and what this goalkeeper did not reach was stopped by the bar of his goal.
It was all the more of a shock in the 44th minute when, after a good through pass, the visiting Sebai slotted the ball into the net. At half-time the scoreboard showed a surprising 0:1 for Istiqlol Dushanbe.
Yatim’s spell was broken in the 66th minute by Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored with a clever lob from a set piece. This tied the score and set his team up for a turnaround.
Anderson Talisca then dominated the field. First, he found the ball in the 72nd minute and headed it into the net, then five minutes later he scored with a beautiful shot to make it 3-1.
In the end, Al Nassr won the match, although it was not easy. The journey was certainly more difficult than expected before the match.
The Saudi Arabian team is now on course to win the Asian Champions League group stage with a full set of points after two matches. They will face Qatar’s Al-Duhail in their next match.
