Cristiano Ronaldo was nominated to the Portuguese national team this week and it obviously lifted his spirits. On Saturday, he shone in the Saudi Arabian league for the first time in a while, scoring a goal and proving himself a true captain.

Al-Nassr lost the top spot in Saudi Arabia’s top competition after the last league match when they fell short in the battle for the top spot against the current leader, which is Al-Ittihad team.

Then in the 86th minute, Al-Nassr converted a penalty kick and Ronaldo acted like a true captain. He left the execution of the penalty to his teammate Anderson Talisca, who was returning from a short injury.
