VIDEO: Crazy referee’s mistake! Brazilian talent Roque was on the pitch for 13 minutes, scored a goal and was senselessly sent off, yet Barcelona still won

Barcelona had previously negotiated for Brazilian offensive megatalent Vitor Roque to become their player. However, in January, the acquisition, which cost the Blaugranas €40 million, finally moved to Catalonia. So far he is showing great potential, scoring his second goal already. However, he also saw his first red card on Saturday night.

The Catalan giant is no longer much to be reckoned with in the title fight. Although there are still 15 rounds left in LaLiga, Barcelona are not in an easy position. The club is suffering from a large squad. The play is not ideal. The club is under enormous pressure and Xavi Hernández is coming off the bench after the season.

The Blaugranas must therefore look for a new coach. While Xavi will try to say goodbye to the club to which he has dedicated most of his life in the most dignified and best possible way.

The LaLiga title is not unrealistic. But given how good Real Madrid, for example, are, it seems like a fight with windmills, even though the point difference between the two teams is not crucial.

On Saturday night, however, Barcelona played at the ground of Alaves and were expected to win against the team from the second half of the table. It did, but more than the result of the match, the situation in which Brazilian megatalent Vitor Roque found himself is more important to resolve.

The world wonders at the referee’s crazy stunt, Barcelona just laughs

Vitor Roque has signed for the Catalan big club before. But in January he finally moved directly to the Catalan capital to become Xavi’s new charge. The 18-year-old has been given space gradually so far, but he is showing great potential.

He already scored his first goal in his new jersey in the last game. And he followed that up in the match at Alaves. He came on in the 59th minute when Barcelona were 2-1 up after goals from Robert Lewandowski and Ilkay Gündogan.

After just four minutes on the pitch, he scored again to make it 3-1. Four minutes later he was shown a yellow card for an elbow strike. In the 72nd minute he received a second yellow card, which meant a sending off. But this moment is the big blemish on the whole match.

Roque collided with a sliding defender in a scramble for the ball, and it was he who fouled. But the referee reversed the situation and unwisely sent the Blaugranas shorthanded.

LaLiga is once again under criticism. After all, fans of Real Madrid and Barcelona are constantly arguing about which of the big clubs the referees are whistling. The fact is, however, that the quality of refereeing in Spain’s top competition is simply dismal, whichever team you support.

This verdict is the butt of ridicule, jokes and criticism. Barcelona only posted a post on social media with a telling text.

Popular Twitter account Troll Football then joked about Roque becoming the youngest player to be sent off for being fouled. There was equally no shortage of innuendo about him receiving a red card for not playing for the team in white jerseys.
