VIDEO: Chelsea fans confronted coach Potter at his car after the loss to Fulham. We still believe, change the line-up, came from the crowd

Three losses in a row, four games without a win. Who would have thought that this could be Chelsea’s record in London? But it is. Coach Graham Potter is not having an easy time. But he can be pleased. After the loss to Fulham, the fans confronted him at his car and, surprisingly, expressed their confidence in him.

To replace Thomas Tuchel? No easy task for Graham Potter. He had a great start to his Chelsea engagement, but after nine games without a loss, the seemingly well-oiled machine began to stutter and the blanket began to fall on the London side.

Before the break, which was scheduled for the World Cup in Qatar, the Blues had lost three league games in a row and won only one of their last five competitive matches. Fans had hoped that things would turn around when club football returned, only that it didn’t.

Potter’s charges beat Bournemouth right away, but then they only drew with Nottingham, lost twice to Manchester City and in the last game they couldn’t even beat Fulham.

Against the Citizens at Stamford Bridge, fans chanted the names of former coach Tuchel and former owner Roman Abramovich. However, after the loss to Fulham, the English strategist was given words of support.

Several people confronted him as he left Craven Cottage Stadium and if anyone expected Graham to have anything negative to look forward to, they would have been pleasantly surprised.

Indeed, there were words of support from the crowd. Fans were expressing their confidence in him and suggesting a change of line-up. There was even a statement that the former Brighton coach was the best coach in the world. Ironic? Only the individual who uttered those words knows.

Anyway, Potter must concentrate on the next game. Crystal Palace are at Stamford Bridge on Sunday and Chelsea must win at all costs to at least partially reduce the already immense pressure they face.
