Arsenal welcomed the last team in the league table – Nottingham Forest – in the 14th round of the Premier League. The match was probably as expected by most fans, the London club destroyed their opponents 5: 0. A wonderful goal in this match was scored by Thomas Partey, which you can see for yourself in this article.

An absolutely safe win and a convincing performance – Arsenal strolled to a clear victory in their Sunday programme as they blasted Nottingham 5: 0 at their stadium. The fans didn’t have to wait long for the first goal.

Already in the fifth minute Gabriel Martinelli scored after a fluffy centre sent into the Forest box by Bukayo Saka. It could have been two goals three minutes later. The former sent another great pass into the box, but it was not taken by Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal were creating more chances and apart from a couple of really good moments, Nottingham let virtually nothing happen. Even objectively, it’s fair to say – beautiful football from Arsenal.

Still, Mikel Arteta’s charges did not score another goal in the first act. That changed in the 49th and 52nd minutes, however, when Reiss Nelson enjoyed a precise hit on both occasions.

It must be noted, for the 22-year-old young striker, these were the first two goals in the current league season.

However, that was far from all from the home team. Five minutes after the third goal, Partey presented himself with a wonderful shot, whose attempt was headed into the top right corner. A great shot!

In the 60th minute, Jesus again had a great chance, but his shot was saved by Dean Henderson and kept Nottingham from conceding another goal.

Arsenal also had a beautiful display in the 78th minute when Martin Ødegaard made it 5-0. The Norwegian midfielder directed his shot into the top left corner for a change.

The fact that Jesus was not favored with a goal in this match is evidenced by the situation in the 84th minute. It must be noted, Arsenal could have won today with an even bigger score difference.

In any case, the Canaries moved back to the top of the English Premier League table with this win. After twelve games they have 31 points with a score of 30:11. Second placed Manchester City is two points behind Arsenal.
