Tyson Fury beat Dillian Whyte in front of a packed Wembley in April and then retired at the age of 33. However, he has changed his mind several times since then and has now revealed the amount that would make him delay retirement.
At the top and the best of them all. That’s how the phenomenal Tyson Fury ended his career at 33. And in front of a sold-out Wembley, where he could sing his hit Sweet Caroline one more time.
However, the WBC champion nevertheless hyped up the fans for his comeback after his retirement by saying he would cut a fight with Anthony Joshua for a very nice 200 million pounds, around 5.78 billion crowns.
However, he subsequently turned around and said that he wasn’t planning a comeback and would only do exhibition fights. But now everything is different again. In an interview with talkSPORT, he revealed the new sum he is willing to return for.
“I’m still 100% retired, nothing has changed about that. Everybody is under the illusion that I’m coming back. But I’ll only be back for a few shows to keep me entertained. I don’t know who it will be against yet. But maybe it’ll generate £200 million. But that kind of money won’t tempt me to come out of retirement,” Punch quotes Fury as saying.
“I’d probably want half a billion. If I get half a billion, I won’t say no to a fight with Joshua. Give me the money and Gypsy King will solve all the problems,” Fury added.
So the return of the King won’t come cheap and would cost a whopping nearly 14.5 billion.
