Tomas Soucek has been in great form lately. He scored 5 goals in 5 games. But Soucek’s moment comes in most cases towards the end of the game. Now West Ham face the London derby with Crystal Palace. Will the Hammers save the day again on Sunday?

Form this season

Already, Soucek has the same number of points (4 goals and assists) as he managed to get in the Premier League last season. David Moyes has only one better goalscorer in his team, which is Jarrod Bowen with 8 accurate goals.

But more importantly, the Czech midfielder’s goals mean points! In the last three occasions, he even secured West Ham’s victory in the last minutes of the game. Except for a few small fluctuations, he’s been getting great ratings. Soucek is once again a key figure for the Hammers and keeps his team in contention for European Cups.

The fans are also showing their enthusiasm for the 28-year-old midfielder, who are obviously very happy to see their favourite return to excellent form.

Soucek? I’m delighted with his form, says Moyes

“I am really pleased with Tomas’ goal scoring form. But the main thing is that his goals have also been so important. We needed someone to step up. In his first season here he scored a good number of goals, last season he was a bit quieter, but now he’s back in it again, which is really good for us,” Moyes said of Soucek.

A tough December

West Ham got back on a winning streak after three league defeats and won their last two games. As a result, they are still within touching distance of the European Cups. However, the competition ahead of them is formidable and Chelsea are already gaining momentum just behind them.

December for the Hammers will take place entirely in the London boroughs. After Crystal Palace, Soucek and co. Tottenham and Fulham. Then they welcome Wolves and Manchester United, ending the year at the Emirates Stadium.

So they have nothing easy ahead of them.
