The World Championships in Qatar are fast approaching. When will your favourites play?
The football World Cup is back again after four years. The world championship will not be missing football superpowers like Spain, Germany or Belgium. However, Qatar will also feature national teams that are not regular participants in the World Cup.
The football World Cup is back again after four years. The world championship will not be missing football superpowers like Spain, Germany or Belgium. However, Qatar will also feature national teams that are not regular participants in the World Cup. It is worth mentioning Canada, which has reached the World Cup for the first time in its history, or hosts Qatar and Ghana.
Italy will be missing from the traditional participants. The latter was already absent four years ago in Russia. The Czech team did not even make it into the 32 selected when it lost 0:1 after extra time in Sweden on 24 April.
The Czech national team will thus wait at least 20 years to participate in the championship, as the last time the Czech team played in the World Championship was in 2006.
