The NHL offered only two games last night, and the visiting team always won. Roman Josi contributed three points to Nashville’s win over the Stars. The home team goalie missed his return to the ice after an injury.

Josi dished out the assists

In the game Dallas Stars vs Nashville Predators (3:6), the strong Dallas team fell on their ice quite surprisingly and clearly. Ironically, in a game rich in goals, the first goal was not scored until the 30th minute when Predators defenseman Jeremy Lauzon put the Predators ahead.

In the game, Predators Swiss defenseman Roman Josi helped his team win with three assists. Josi even attacked the 100 point mark in the NHL two years ago, which he ultimately failed to do, falling short of that mark at just 4 points.

Josi recorded the 32nd three-point game of his career and ranks third among active defensemen. Only Victor Hedman has accomplished the feat more times with 39 and Erik Karlsson, who has an even 49 three-point duels.

The return to the ice after a long layoff was especially frustrating for home goalie Jake Oettinger, who showed up on the ice for the first time since December 15 and made 32 successful saves, but the upstart Predators found their way behind his back four times.

Minnesota failed again on their home ice

The Minnesota Wild vs. Philadelphia Flyers (3:4) failed to score after overtime for the seventh time in the last eight games. Home goaltender Marc André-Fleury failed to regain the second place in the number of game-winning saves, which he still shares with Patrick Roy (551).

Forward Joel Farabee secured the extra point for the Flyers at 63:63. This is an important extra point for a Philadelphia team that is fighting for the playoffs.

22-year-old forward Adam Raschka played his third NHL game for the Wild. However, he didn’t register a point in nearly 8 minutes on the ice and is still waiting for his first NHL point.

The Minnesota team is already sinking into the basement of the NHL with another defeat, and even the team’s idea of fighting for the playoffs is starting to sink. In their next game, they welcome an Arizona team that, on the other hand, is on a very good path to finally look at the playoffs after all these years, especially thanks to the great performance of Connor Ingram.
