Leo Brichta shared a video in which he praises a certain MMA organization operating on the domestic scene. Which organization is the only proper one?
Less than a year ago, wrestler Leo Brichta made a sensational move within an MMA organization operating on the domestic scene. The Octagon star, who was just a short step away from a title shot, made the move to the rival RFA.
In the new organization, Brichta was expecting more fights and hoping for a bigger payday. “I expect to fight a lot for a lot of money,” Brichta told MMA Shorties a year ago. But as far as the fight portion goes, he hasn’t improved that much so far, mainly due to injuries.
He’s managed five fights under the Octagon banner in 2020 and two last season. Thus, 2022 was supposed to be the year that would shoot the young fighter into the highest levels of the RFA waters. What does the reality look like?
In March, he won over Austrian Dadaev and in July, he finished Vitezslav Rajnoch in three minutes. He was also supposed to make an appearance at the RFA 4 tournament over the weekend. However, Brichta was injured at September’s Night of Fighters event under K-1 rules and did not enter the tournament.
Still, the fighter seems to be happy with his move. “The only proper organization,” he said in a video shared on the MMA LOVCI vol2 YouTube channel, pointing the camera at the RFA poster.
The information regarding financial compensation is not public, so we can’t judge. However, at least on the sporting front, he has not yet confirmed his words about wanting to be at the top of the food chain in a few years and seeing himself in UFC waters.
