The French daily reveals the highest paid players in Ligue 1, with only PSG in the top 10. How much do the offensive stars earn?
PSG has total domination in French football. No other club can match the financial power of the Qatari sheikhs, so it probably comes as no surprise that only PSG players are in the top 10 highest paid players in the league.

French newspaper L’Equipe has published the highest paid players in Ligue 1 and it’s an interesting probe into how PSG rule the French league.
We’ve already mentioned that only PSG players can be found in the top 10 highest paid players, but it goes even further than that. There are 13 of them in the top 15 highest paid players and 15 in the top 20 richest players.
In fifteenth place we find Renato Sanches of PSG, who receives 540,000 euros per month. In front of him is teammate Fabian Ruíz, who has 5 thousand more.
Thirteenth place is occupied by one of the two players who do not play in Paris. Jordan Veretout from Marseille receives 550,000 euros per month. Ahead of him is Presnel Kimpembe with 640,000 euros a month.
The 11th highest paid player who does not receive a Qatari paycheck is Wissam Ben Yedder. A small striker in stature, he receives 650,000 euros per month in Monaco.
The top ten players with the best salary in Ligue 1 are rounded off by Nordi Mukiele, who earns 700 thousand euros a month. Juan Bernat earns slightly more, with 730 thousand euros.
In eighth place we find Sergio Ramos, who receives 791,600 euros per month, while goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma collects 916 thousand euros per month from PSG. However, the sixth position is already over a million.
Achraf Hakimi receives 1,083,000 euros per month, long-time leader Marco Verratti earned a salary of 1,200,000 euros per month, the same salary is received by captain Marquinhos. We see an even bigger jump when we move to the star strike trio.
A huge leap
Lionel Messi receives the least of the attacking stars. He is the third highest paid player in PSG and Ligue 1, with €3,375,000 a month. Brazil’s Neymar earns a monthly salary of €3,675,000 and yet another giant leap to the top spot.
If you’ve already thought Neymar’s salary (nearly 92 million crowns) is exorbitant, you might be on to something now. Kylian Mbappé is actually paid €6 million a month! This made him the highest paid player in the world by a huge margin, but that honour was taken away from him by Cristiano Ronaldo leaving for Arabia.
Mbappé’s salary is justified by the huge interest of Real Madrid and also by the player’s desire to leave for Madrid. PSG had to keep their best player somehow, and how else but with money. In addition to the king’s salary, he also received a bonus of 100 million euros for signing a new contract.
