Ferland Mendy immediately pushed legendary defender Marcelo out of the lineup upon his arrival at Real Madrid. However, it didn’t take much and everything could have been completely different.

The French footballer did not have an easy childhood. At the age of 11, he lost his father. It was then that he first developed hip problems.
