Borussia Dortmund have to do without their star player Erling Haaland for a few weeks, but they did well in their first game. The Westphalian side took on Arminia Bielefeld and scored two wonderful goals!

Even without Erling Haaland, Borussia managed to beat Bielefeld 3-1. They were the dominant team in the match and deservedly took the three points.

Emre Can, Mats Hummels and Jude Bellingham scored for Dortmund. The former scored from the penalty spot, but the other two players made some great saves.

In the 45th minute, Hummels got to a deflected ball just outside the big box and fired a beautiful shot from a volley that pierced everything in its path.

Hummels scored his first goal of the season.

Dortmund’s third goal was scored by the 18-year-old Bellingham, who is putting in one great performance after another. He’s been very vocal about his transfer to a bigger team.

Bellingham scored his third goal this season. He also added a great 6 assists.

Gaining the important three points then means that Dortmund continue to stay close to Bayern, who managed their match against Hoffenheim. Borussia are only one point behind the Bundesliga table leaders.
