That’s how football helps too! A group of enthusiasts from Benešov organized a charity event for pineapples

The power of football knows no bounds. The charity event Ananas Cup can be a great example. 16,000 crowns were raised in one Saturday afternoon.

A charity tournament was held at the football stadium in Benešov to support the Rytmus Central Bohemia association, which helps to integrate people with disabilities into everyday life.

The third edition attracted new sponsors, twice as many teams and even higher numbers of spectators. The town itself registered the potential of the whole project and was happy to contribute to the management of the event with the help of the District Football Association.

The motto of the whole tournament was. Thanks to this, each of the players and spectators could contribute 100 crowns. There was also an opportunity to send money directly to the organization’s account.

How did it come about?

“I’m glad that we were able to organize the Ananas Cup again. This time it was the third edition of the tournament that continues to grow. Thefirst year didn’t have a name yet, 10 teams gathered, mostly made up of friends, but it was still an amazing event,” said David Řejha, the organizer of the whole project.

“The second year, twelve teams were already playing, it was a charity event, accompanied by music, sponsors and referees.”

“This time 17 teams participated in the third edition. In addition to the traditional musical accompaniment from the guys from Benesound, there were many novelties. The whole event had a moderator, there were refreshments from the people from Bruks barbershop and the charity Rytmus Central Bohemia. Atotal of 16,000 crowns were raised,” adds the founder of the charity event.

It has never been easier to turn your dreams into reality. This is exactly the approach we can see in the Benesov group, which once again surpassed the quality of previous years.
