Surprising Premier League first round hero: Kulusevski can shoot Tottenham very high with his left foot

We will probably hear the name Dejan Kulusevski a lot this season. The Tottenham vs. Southampton player was virtually unstoppable on Saturday, terrorizing the Saints defense with his passes, which often didn’t know where their heads were at.

Thanks to the 22-year-old winger, who was also present at the Czech national team’s spring defeat in the World Cup qualifying play-off, Tottenham currently lead the league table thanks to four goals scored.

Spurs could be expected to be the rival of the Manchester City – Liverpool duo, who have been dictating the pace of the English top flight lately.

Indeed, Conte has a really strong and wide squad at his disposal when he has a player of similar quality for every position. Moreover, there are many experienced footballers who have been at Tottenham for many years.

So if Spurs have a chance to win something, it will be this season, at least that’s what the fans believe. And Kulusevski could play a key role in that potential success. Just like newcomer Richarlison, who missed the opening game due to a penalty last season.

However, more will be revealed in the very next game against Chelsea, who welcome their city rivals to Stamford Bridge. The Blues earned a slender 1-0 win against Everton in the opening round, with Jorginho scoring from the penalty spot.
