Slapped? If you don’t like it, don’t watch it! Three to five slaps a tournament in Slap, says Dana White
Dana White is undoubtedly a maverick. The UFC president has recently embarked on a new project involving slapping, which is steadily gaining popularity. However, the would-be sport has been widely criticized for many things, but White stands his ground.
Dana White is undoubtedly a maverick. The UFC president has recently embarked on a new project involving slapping, which is steadily gaining popularity. However, the would-be sport has been widely criticized for many things, but White stands his ground.
The person of Dana White is associated with many controversies. The president of the UFC is an excellent businessman, but many question his moral values.
Relatively recently, there was talk about how he slapped his wife and got himself filmed doing it, then slandered former champion Francis Ngannou just because he didn’t want to renew his contract with him.
White has also embarked on a new project called Power Slap. Those who know English already know it’s a slap slap organization, which is still a relatively new sport.
The quotation marks are not to be missed, because it has almost nothing to do with sport. The fighters can’t fight back and they take one slap after another.
Often, however, the blows are such that they ground the opponent. In MMA, they would have already stopped the fight, but here they let the fighter stand up and take more punches.
Unfortunately, the slaps were not without casualties, and they will increase, after all, if someone takes so many blows, there is no chance that it will not take a toll on his brain in the future.
That is why negative opinions are constantly appearing, and the promoter of Oktagon Ondrej Novotny himself expressed that he and his organization do not support anything like this.
White, however, has a different opinion and mocks the critics in his own way. “Nobody is asking you or forcing you to watch this. We’re spending money to make sure we have two healthy people there and proper medical care during and after the game.
Those are all things we have to educate people about, just like we had to educate them about mixed martial arts. In Slap, they give three to five slaps a tournament. Fighters in boxing get 300-400 punches a fight.
And guess what: You know what my answer is? If you don‘t[bleep] like it, don’t watch it! Nobody’s asking you to watch it. Oh, so you hate it? Then watch the Voice,” he said at a post-tournament press conference.
The slap, however, won’t be missed in our neck of the woods. The formation of the RedFace organization, which is to include influencers, has been announced.
