Slapped by RedFace? In the worst possible direction, Clash of the Stars counteracts RedFace as a serious organization
Commentary – Slapping as a new trend? How to take it. The Power Slap organization in particular, a brand run by UFC boss Dana White in America, is getting a lot of attention right now. But it is facing a lot of criticism. In our country, the brand RedFace will take on this “sport”. But it’s doing the exact opposite of what White is trying to do.

The slap has been with us for a long time. However, it’s only been in the media since the beginning of this year, when UFC boss Dana White came up with his own organization Power Slap, which is promoted on the official UFC channels more than it should be.
Right after the first tournament, however, the media was mostly critical. Many star MMA fighters, martial arts experts, and in general a large number of fans or personalities involved in combat sports do not like this “sport”. Even medical professionals or doctors are not happy about it.
Nevertheless, White is trying to legitimize slapping, to make it a serious sport. In doing so, he is trying to ensure the best possible medical care and overall provide a true professional standard. Even so, the former Nevada Athletic Commission member who was one of the main voices for the approval of slapping already regrets approving such a thing.
Slapping has arrived in the Czech Republic
Now we will also have slapping in the Czech Republic. A new organisation called RedFace has been formed and right from the start it has been trying to take its place on the scene. There hasn’t been a single tournament yet, but we hear talk of how the O2 arena will be sold out within a year and a day.
One would like to say that this is a somewhat ridiculous statement. After all, slapping is not very attractive. Many people will also understandably be bothered by the fact that it is forbidden to fight back. This is a completely pointless gamble on health.
To make matters worse, RedFace is actually doing the complete opposite of what the aforementioned Dana White is trying to do. Legitimization? No way. After Clash of the Stars, this is another bizarro. But even bizarre should have its limits.
Even the head of Clash of the Stars knows about boundaries, there are some things we will never see under the hood of this brand. For example, the battle of the sexes. Moreover, the organization actually organizes fights within the framework of combat sports, one can defend oneself in them, one can prepare for them.
Slapped is a completely different case in this instance, and besides, if anyone finds Clash of the Stars to be bizarre, what would they say to RedFace’s latest posts? Anyone seems to get space here. Not necessarily just internet celebrities, but also faces of the disinformation scene and the like.
Clash of the Stars, so far, comes across as an actually serious organization compared to RedFace. And that’s probably the saddest thing. If only because it’s about health.
And for such a Jana Peterkova, a seasoned disinformer, to challenge Pavel Novotny, the mayor of Řeporyje and lover of controversy, to a fight? I can’t even find the words.
And Novotny’s “trashtalk” with actor Zdeněk Godla is also not worth mentioning.
Let’s hope RedFace realise how risky the whole thing is. The worst can happen. Not to mention the effect it could have on a society that is already extremely divided. Involving politicians or political activists is not a good idea.
In short, RedFace targets the worst and lowest instincts regardless of the potential consequences. At least that’s how it seems so far, and unfortunately these things work great these days.
However, there is already a clear dissatisfaction in the comments and even some personalities who have signed up to RedFace are being urged to stay away from similarly dangerous projects.
