Raging Ronaldo: We’re playing shit, what the f**k was that?! Amazon has published the then big row in the Juventus dressing room
Yesterday, November 25, a documentary was released on Amazon that traces Juventus Torino’s season last year. In it, we learn in particular about the big argument in the Old Lady’s cabin, where Ronaldo took a significant swipe at his teammates! What did the players say to each other in the cabin or what caused Juventus to drop out of the Champions League afterwards?

All or Nothing – that’s the name of the documentary that chronicles Juventus Turin’s season last year. A season when Cristiano Ronaldo was still with the Italian club. The Amazon footage reveals a lot to fans, such as the big fight between the Portuguese star and Juan Cuadrado.
It all happened after Juventus dropped out of the Champions League. And we assume that the Old Lady’s supporters still have vivid memories of both duels with Porto.
After the opening match, when Porto defeated Juventus on home soil, it was expected that the Italian giant would beat the Portuguese side in the return match, and preferably in a clear-cut manner.
Pirlo’s charges were leading 2:1 after 90 minutes, so it went to extra time. However, the home team did not prevail. In the 117th minute, Sérgio Oliveira equalised at 2:2, putting their opponents on their backs. In the very end, Adrien Rabiot gave Juventus hope, but his goal was not enough to advance.
Now, some eight months later, we can take a look at what it looked like in the home dressing room after the game.
“We have to work harder! What the f**k was that?! We didn’t play anything, nothing!” said Ronaldo immediately after arriving in the dressing room. His offensive teammate Juan Cuadrado tried to calm him down.
But “CR7”, as Ronaldo’s nickname goes, had so much anger inside him that he was forced to continue.
“We play shit, always! We’ve got to be honest, we’ve just played shit! This is a Champions League game, we have to act accordingly!” Ronaldo raged.
The argument, or rather Ronaldo’s outburst, was only stopped by coach Andrea Pirlo. “That’s enough, that’s enough! Enough Juan, enough Cri. We will continue in this vein, but without arguing, with the attitude of someone who wants to win.” Pirlo calmed both players down.
Cuadrado told Ronaldo during the argument that he should set an example, which made the famous Portuguese even more angry. After all, this defeat and being knocked out of the Champions League was one of the factors why he left Juventus for Manchester United just before the end of the transfer window.
