Problems at Chelsea? Lukaku not happy with coach, Tuchel upset by his words

It must be a very tense atmosphere in the Chelsea cabin right now. Romelu Lukaku has opened his mouth against the tactics of coach Thomas Tuchel, who understandably doesn’t like the Belgian’s words at all.
Tuchel came to Chelsea last winter and immediately moved the club for the better. He changed the formation to 3-5-2 and led the Blues to a Champions League win.
However, he doesn’t like to play one offensive killer, preferring to spread the offensive load among three workers who are better suited to his system. Despite this, Chelsea paid over 100 million euros for Romelu Lukaku in the summer, who is the quintessential penalty killer.
He has performed brilliantly, scoring on his debut against Arsenal. He then scored twice in his third start against Aston Villa and then added a goal against Zenit in the Champions League. It seemed his transfer was a slam dunk.
But then Lukaku went silent. In the next seven competitive matches he did not score a goal or an assist, five times spending the whole 90 minutes on the pitch. Then he got injured and watched the next seven games from the stands.
After his return, he was more of a substitute, but did not score in the league, scoring only against Zenit in a 3-3 draw. He then missed the next three games again due to injury, but the post-Christmas games went well, scoring against Aston Villa and Brighton. Still, he is not happy.
“Physically I’m fine. But I’m not happy with the situation at Chelsea. Tuchel chose to play with a different system. I’m not going to give up, I’m a professional. I’m not happy with the situation, but I’m a professional and I can’t give up now,” Lukaku told Sky Sports.
He also added that now is the right time to talk about what really happened. According to him, Inter remains in his heart, he has fallen in love with Italy and is sure he will return to Inter.
This was understandably not met with understanding by the Chelsea management and coach Tuchel, at whom these words were directed.
“I’ll be honest, I don’t like it because it brings a buzz that we don’t need. It’s easy to take sentences out of context. Of course I don’t like it, it’s a fuss we don’t need and it doesn’t help us,” Tuchel raged.
“We will talk openly with Romel behind closed doors. I’m surprised because I don’t think he’s unhappy, on the contrary,” the German coach added more calmly.
Anyway, the disputes in the cabin may be one of the reasons why Chelsea started to lose unusually. Injuries and a couple of players with coronavirus have added to the problem, but Chelsea has a very strong squad. Of the last 8 league games, they have won only twice, lost once and drawn five times.
