At the end of January, Ronald Paradeiser got his title shot when he took on the legendary Ivan Buchinger. But he didn’t handle the match at all and lost quickly. Now he will try to get back on a winning streak.
The 23-year-old Slovakian MMA talent was no match for Slovakian legend Ivan Buchinger in a lightweight title fight in January. But he doesn’t have to worry about that, because Rony Paradeiser still has everything ahead of him.
But now he needs to get back on a winning streak, which he will try to do at OKTAGON 25 against Arda Adas, who is currently 9-4.
Paradeiser will be the favourite in the match, with odds of 1.40 on him to win, and rightly so.
The Slovakian talent is a very complex fighter who has a great future ahead of him. Moreover, he has a high wrestling IQ, can adapt to the development of the match and is a great tactician.
His main problem with the Buchinger fight was in his head when he couldn’t handle the pressure. There should be no doubt about his qualities. He’s a great stand-up guy, but he can also threaten on the ground. There’s virtually no way Adas can beat him.
The only thing the German wrestler can threaten with is a good stance. He may hit Paradeiser well, but that’s his only chance. But the Slovakian fighter can’t be expected to give it to him.
