Leo Brichta is no longer an Oktagon fighter, he has moved to the newly formed RFA organization. But before his debut he will have a start in another organization, Clash of the Stars. The latter is hosting its first tournament on Saturday and Brichta will be in a two-on-two match.
Clash of the Stars is a celebrity tournament, more specifically an influencer tournament. However, at their last press conference, they came up with a match that is unprecedented in the Czech Republic.
It’s a two-on-two match, in which Leo Brichta will appear. He is a substitute for Jan Fajk, who tore ligaments in his knee.
Brichta will fight together with his brother Lukas Faik, their opponents will be Zbožínek and Šuterou.
But why did Brichta sign up for such a fight? The reason is simple, namely charity, so the money will go not only from his salary to a good cause.
“Why am I fighting here? I’m not just wrestling for myself, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, I’m mainly here for charity reasons. How did that come about? Luke told me that his brother got injured, so he offered me if I wanted to wrestle in his place.
I hesitated for a while, we thought about it and the day before I actually discussed with my manager Nina Sedlak, whose idea it was also, whether I should auction off the gloves from the match for a little girl. I shared the story, click through.
I guess you’ll see why I’m doing it then. We thought we could do it in the form of a match and all of my and Luke’s proceeds would go to the little girl,” he said at the organization’s press conference.
