Chelsea pick up their second win of the season in the seventh round of the Premier League, beating home side Fulham 2-0 in the London derby. Mykhailo Mudryk and Armand Broja scored within two minutes to decide the game.
Chelsea threatened for the first time in the second minute when Armando Broja rounded the goalkeeper but then shot over from the edge of the box. Eight minutes later, Mykhailo Mudryk fired, but headed well over Bernd Leno’s goal.
In the 18th minute, the Ukrainian was already celebrating, working the ball in the whitewash and sending it between the legs of the German goalkeeper. A minute later, Tim Ream only sent the ball into the Broy in a slip and Leno could not react to the subsequent rebound.
In the 28th minute it could have been all over, but Enzo Fernandez fired well over from outside the box. The Blues controlled the end of the first half and didn’t allow Fulham any chances. They went into the box with a 0:2 scoreline.
After the change of sides, Chelsea continued their controlled performance, with Cole Palmer shooting in the 55th minute, but this time Leno made the save. Six minutes later Fulham threatened for the first time, but Carlos Vinicius headed over.

On the other side, Robert Sanchez flashed his shot, the onrushing joker Sasa Lukic just clipped him in a chance. Willian’s long-range effort also failed, the Spanish goalkeeper had an easier job this time.
In the end, Chelsea kept the ball in their hands and leapfrogged their opponents in the table with a 3:0 win. She is 11th, with Fulham on eight points, but with a much worse record. Both clubs are five points behind the top 7 in the cup.
