Italian Serie A had three games on the schedule on Friday. Teams like Inter Milan, Naples and AC Milan were in action, and only Naples, as the leader of the Italian league, managed to win. The Milan giants have to take a point for a draw.
Inter in particular, however, faced an almost insurmountable problem in the form of the Mexican phantom between the three poles. This was, of course, none other than Guillermo Ochoa, whom fans may know especially for his great performances at the World Cup.
It was after the last World Cup in Qatar that Ochoa moved from the Mexican league to Europe. At 37 years old, he is the goalkeeper of Salernitana in Italy and he is certainly not disappointed with his move, even though he left the big club América.
Ochoa has been outstanding at Salernitana and he is often the reason why the Campania side have not lost.
The Mexican has already managed 12 games for the Italian side and Salernitana have lost only 4, having failed to beat AC Milan, Napoli, Atalanta or Juventus.
However, as already mentioned, Inter have now literally broken their teeth on him. Ochoa was named player of the match, which ended 1-1. The Mexican phenomenon made 10 saves in the match and some of them were really worth it.
It is worth mentioning that Ochoa has been linked with a transfer to a bigger club in recent days. Specifically, there is speculation about AC or Inter Milan, but in both clubs he would probably only play the role of a number two.
