McGregor back in a proper package? The Irishman revealed that his first film role is the highest paid in history

That’s because McGregor will star in Road House, a remake of the 1989 film of the same name. However, it is not yet clear what role he has been given. However, it won’t be long before we find out. The film is set to be released during the second half of 2023.

Filming took place in the Dominican Republic. The film will be released under the cover of Amazon Prime. With the UFC star, for example, plays a popular and acclaimed actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

The film is expected to make a profit and McGregor’s paycheck should look accordingly. The actor took to Twitter to boast that his first role is the highest paid first role ever in film.

“Add that to the rest of my accolades,” the Irishman added to his boast. And how much is he actually set to earn? McGregor is projecting sales of around half a billion dollars. It’s worth noting, however, that he deleted his post a few hours later.
