Martin Vitík is undeniably one of the biggest talents currently active in the Fortuna League. According to Italian journalist Matteo Moretto, he has even been on the radar of AC Milan.
Martin Vitík has been picking up starts on the league turf since the 2020/21 season, when experienced coach Václav Kotal first gave him the opportunity to show his potential among the adults.
He made his debut in the Fortuna Liga on 17 January 2021 at Baník Ostrava, the match ended in a goalless draw. Currently, he has already played 64 matches in the Fortuna Liga.
In the previous season he contributed to the long-awaited title with his performances. Danish strategist Brian Priske has deployed him in 22 league matches, in which the 20-year-old defender has played more than 2000 minutes.
In the current season, Vitík has been a regular part of the starting line-up. He has significantly improved his productivity, scoring twice on the league scene and has also scored one goal in the European Conference League.
It is also thanks to the European Cups that Sparta Prague players may be more interested. Vitik is a perfect example as he is in the sights of AC Milan. Other teams from Italy and Spain are also interested.
This was reported by journalist Matteo Moretto. However, apart from Vitik, Juan Miranda from Betis Sevilla, whose current contract expires next summer, is also on the list of potential reinforcements for the defensive ranks.
Vitik has a contract at Letná until the summer of 2026. According to the renowned Transfermarkt server, his market value is around €3.5 million. However, it probably comes as no surprise that Sparta’s management would demand a much higher amount.
