Mariánek responds to hate messages: these fights are about money. I’m doing it for the money, I’m not afraid to say it

Jon Marianek has stirred up the waters of Czech MMA in recent weeks, challenging many a fighter or personality to a fight. In his new video he explained how things are.
Jon Mariánek turned down an offer from Oktagon to fight Jakub Štáfek, who he says he has absolutely no interest in.
Instead, he challenged Karlos Vemola, and then several other personalities. In addition, the MMA community blames him for not having accomplished anything and just being lucky.
“I pissed off the MMA community because I’m just some kid from the USA who has money, has never accomplished anything and is just lucky. I’m calling out guys who work hard and sweat blood. Look, I, when I come back to the Czech Republic, we’ll all get some training in,” he said in his YouTube video.
“All you guys who sweat blood every day, let’s train to see who can do more. Don’t blame me, but you don’t work harder than the others. When we get back to the Czech Republic, we’ll have a training session together and see who has more stamina, who has worked harder,” he added.
He also commented on how the negative reactions are helping him. It keeps him relevant and a possible fight would earn him interesting money.
“These fights are all about how many PPVs you sell. It’s about the money. I understand a lot of you guys do it because you enjoy it. I don’t, I do it for the money and I’m not afraid to say it. Mayweather made $100 million in 24 minutes in the ring with Logan. You think he does it because he loves boxing? Everybody does it for the money,” he finished.
