Carlos Tévez has only recently retired from a professional career after the death of his father and is sure to be remembered as a phenomenal footballer. But now he is embarking on a new life journey and has found his first coaching job.
The now former Argentine striker ended his professional career less than two weeks ago after being a free agent for some time at his beloved Boca Juniors. He also made the decision because of the death of his father.
Among other things, along with the end of his playing career, during which he donned the jerseys of West Ham, Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus, Carlos Tévez announced that he plans to take the plunge into coaching. And that is exactly what is happening.
Shortly after the end of his career, he found his first coaching job, which will start with a battle for top-flight football in Argentina’s top competition.
He has been chosen as the new coach by Rosario Central. Tévez is looking forward to a new lease of life and, before the announcement of this engagement, he said that he and his friends were planning a spectacular project.
It is worth mentioning that Tévez has been preparing for this role of a lifetime. In Europe, he had training sessions with Juventus or AC Milan to see the work of coaches Massimiliano Allegri and Stefano Pioli up close.
Nothing easy awaits the Argentine at the start of his coaching career. Rosario finished in 16th place last season and are not in a good place now either. After four rounds of the recently started season, he has only 4 points and is in 22nd position.
