Twenty-six-year-old midfielder Konrad Laimer could not have imagined a better ending for Leipzig, winning the German Cup and finishing a fine third in the Bundesliga. After the end of his contract, he decided to take up an offer from champions Bayern, with whom he will have the highest goals.

Konrad Laimer is a perfect example of the excellent work Red Bull does in football. The RB Salzburg graduate first showed his worth on loan at partner Liefering and then made his way into the A-team.

Laimer has signed a contract with Bayern until the summer of 2027 and the fans are universally happy with his arrival. It’s hard not to be, a free signing like that is something you don’t see.
