Koundé wiped out a fan who called him a faggot: Are you a doctor? You’re useless, the Sevilla stopper was angry
Jules Koundé is one of the most talented stoppers in the world. At the age of 23, he is already in his fifth season in adult football, and Chelsea or Real Madrid would like to acquire him from Sevilla. The French defender doesn’t sugarcoat anything, as he proved on his Twitter account.
Jules Koundé is one of the most talented stoppers in the world. At the age of 23, he is already in his fifth season in adult football and would be a good signing for Chelsea or Real Madrid. The French defender doesn’t sugarcoat anything, as he proved on his Twitter account.
Koundé has been performing absolutely brilliantly in the current season, thanks to him Sevilla have the best defence in the league (13 goals conceded) and are the only team chasing Real Madrid for the league title.
He is in his third season in the Andalusian capital and has become a big fan favourite. In the summer, his transfer to Chelsea was imminent, only that the Champions League winner was ultimately unwilling to pay the €80 million that Sevilla value their stopper at.
In the current season, he has played 17 games in La Liga, has one assist, made three appearances in the Copa del Rey, where he scored once, and made five appearances in the Champions League.
In the last two games against Getafe and Betis, he has only played half-time (52 minutes respectively) and couldn’t do more due to a sore back. And because of this injury, he didn’t travel to Valencia for Wednesday’s La Liga match.
This angered one Sevilla fan who lost patience. He took to Twitter to vent his emotions.
“Koundé is already a joke to me. One hit in the back, with all the physiotherapists they have and he still hasn’t recovered? He’s a faggot. And he’s not giving it much, I had to say. And I’m so defensive, I hope he shuts me up before he leaves,” the Sevilla fan lamented.
He just didn’t expect his message to reach Kounde himself. He didn’t let the attack on his person go unnoticed and replied to the fan You are useless,” the 23-year-old stopper did not argue with his critic.
