It’s been two weeks since Jake Paul’s fight with Tyron Woodley, but Woodley’s trainer just now came forward with the information that his charge suffered a memory lapse and didn’t even know he got KO’d! He wanted to continue the fight afterwards.
Tyron Woodley fell to Jake Paul in the rematch as well, the American YouTuber also dealt him a hard KO and the famous MMA fighter went down.
The KO itself was named the best KO of 2021 by ESPN, which is quite a surprising result.
Now Woodley’s trainer has come forward with interesting news, admitting that the blow caused a short-term memory lapse.
“T-Wood had no knowledge of the world or what happened at that particular moment. When it was over, I was standing by him and he was asking me what round this was and when he was going to jump back on,” trainer Din Thomas told Sirius XM
“He didn’t remember being off at all. He looked at me in disbelief that he lost. He couldn’t believe it at all, he cared so much about winning,” he added.
It’s unknown how Woodley was eventually convinced that he was indeed knocked out and the fight was over, but the explanation certainly wasn’t easy.
