King Ronaldo! He broke another record, becoming the top scorer in national team history
No record in football history is protected from Cristiano Ronaldo. As long as the 36-year-old Portuguese is still playing, he will keep attacking all possible trophies and records. He made history again on Wednesday against Ireland.

The World Cup qualifying match did not go well for the Portuguese. Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty in the 15th minute, plus John Egan scored just before half-time.
The Portuguese conquered their opponents all through the second half, even taking 22 shots in the second half. But still none of them clattered into the net.
But if you have Cristiano Ronaldo in your team, you have to believe until the very end. In the 89th minute, he equalized with a header to make it 1-1, but it wasn’t enough. In the sixth minute of stoppage time, he pounced on a Joao Maria centre and headed it into the net again. Not only did he get an important win for Portugal in the Qualifiers, he also rewrote another record.
Before the match, he shared the position of top scorer in national history with Ali Daei. Both have 109 goals.
Ronaldo could have beaten him in the 15th minute, but he missed the penalty. It was a double strike in stoppage time and the Madeira native is currently alone at the top of the national scorers’ list with 111 goals.
Ronaldo is thus currently the top scorer in the Champions League, national teams, Euro and World Cup qualifiers and Real Madrid, among others. A decent feat.
