Juventus without Ronaldo still waiting for a win! This time he was beaten by Napoli

Starting the new season? Nothing that Juventus fans want to talk about at length. On the contrary. Until recently, one of the most dominant clubs in Europe has been floundering and suffering as if it had no end.

Starting the new season? Nothing that Juventus fans want to talk about at length. On the contrary. Until recently, one of the most dominant clubs in Europe has been floundering and suffering as if it had no end.

This is certainly not the start to the new Serie A season that Juventus fans imagined. The club’s management certainly didn’t see it this black either. But this is the reality.

Three games, two losses, one draw and therefore a single point. On top of that, a not very flattering score of 3::5 and for now 16th place in the table, which may not be the final one after Sunday’s game day.

In the first round, when Cristiano Ronaldo was still in the team, Juventus managed to draw 2: 2 with Udinese. The Portuguese only came on for half an hour and didn’t show much, but it’s still the only point of the season so far.

It’s as if the winning aura has gone with the departure of one of the best footballers in history. Right after that Juventus lost 0-1 at home to Empoli, the newcomer to the top Italian league.

Against Empoli, the Turin side was the better team, but Federico Chiesa couldn’t pull off the offensive by himself and no one else joined him. There was no goal scorer, no finisher.

But with Naples it was a different story. The club from under Vesuvius managed to win 2: 1 and deservedly so. Massimiliano Allegri’s charges were clearly inferior in all aspects of the match, whether it was in terms of ball possession or number of shots.

This week Juventus can make up for it in the Champions League, where they have a “breather” game against Malmö, but next weekend they will face AC Milan, one of the strongest teams in Italy.

Can Juventus recover?
