Jake Paul wasn’t kidding! Fury escaped the undertaker’s shovel, plus he lost the biggest payday of his life, he said
Jake Paul was supposed to have a fight with Tommy Fury on December 18, but the Englishman got injured and that didn’t let Paul rest easy. He may have already found a new opponent, but he didn’t let Fury off the hook. What did he say about him?
Jake Paul was supposed to have a fight with Tommy Fury on December 18, but the Englishman got injured and that didn’t let Paul rest easy. He may have already found a new opponent, but he didn’t let Fury off the hook. What did he say about him?
Less than two weeks before the Paul vs. Fury fight, it’s clear it’s not going to happen. The reason is an injury to Tommy Fury that will keep him out of the fight.
Fury broke a rib and subsequently caught an infection, so the doctor has banned him from the fight. But Paul has still uttered words that are definitely not in praise of the English boxer.
“Who knows what the hell is going on in their camp and where the truth even lies. I can’t believe it at all. Tommy Fury escaped the gravedigger’s shovel, plus he lost the biggest payday of his life,” Paul said on his Instagram.
“I’m a true boxer because I’ve fought a broken nose and an illness. I knew how to get through it. I have no doubt whatsoever that Tommy wouldn’t be scared of me. I think he was totally f**ked with me!” he added.
But Paul needn’t be disappointed, he’ll be fighting on the previously announced date, it’ll be a rematch with Tyrone Woodley who has obviously been waiting for his chance and hasn’t stopped training.
Paul also added that if Woodley can knock him out, he will be rewarded with a $500,000 bonus.
