Is Neuer even human? Watch how he outmuscled Haaland
Manuel Neuer is an absolutely phenomenal footballer. Not only is he a great catcher, but his footwork is excellent. He is also considered a pioneer among modern goalkeepers. But now he has done something that many defenders cannot do.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund played in the Super Cup on Tuesday and those who watched the game certainly didn’t regret it. Both teams put on an incredible pace of play, with chances spilling over from one side to the other and some beautiful actions and goals.
However, one player stood out. Although Robert Lewandowski scored 2 goals, it was Manuel Neuer who shone the brightest in a Bayern jersey. The 35-year-old goalkeeper is certainly not fading with age, the Munich giant still has a sure number one in him.
Bayern won 3:1, with Borussia’s captain Marco Reus scoring a wonderful goal. Something special, that was the only thing that got the better of Neuer that night as the Germany international decimated his opponents. He grabbed several chances for both Reus and Haaland and added one interesting moment.
First Neuer stopped a long ball heading towards Haaland with his chest, then the ball was back in the air and the 35-year-old goalkeeper didn’t hesitate for a moment to engage in a header with the Norwegian striker. To everyone’s surprise, he managed this difficult task, although he has almost no experience in header duels.
The reaction to this duel was not missed by the fans, who were delighted with Neuer’s performance. “Neuer beat Haaland in a header, I’ve seen it all this year,” a fan wrote on Twitter.
“A lot of defenders can’t beat Haaland in the air. Neuer is not human,” another fan praised the 35-year-old goalkeeper.
“Before any club buys Haaland, they need to make sure Neuer has retired. Because Neuer is bullying Haaland at the moment,” another Twitter user wrote.
