Chelsea London is currently in a phase of total rebuilding of the club. It now appears that a big-name offensive signing from the Italian league could be heading to the English capital.

Chelsea have had a very unsuccessful and botched season. A change of ownership, a change of coaches, a mad splurge of money and lots of new players. All this has caused a season without a trophy, a mid-table finish and the prospect of a trophyless season next year.

Mauricio Pochettino, who has now taken his seat on the bench, has a tough job ahead of him and a really difficult task as he has to restore order to the club and steer it in the right direction back to the top.

The Blues have been rather active in selling their players so far. Ten players have already left the club in succession. Some for free and some have brought in much needed millions to the club’s piggy bank. By selling players, the club has so far raised around 220 million euros.

Three new faces have been announced so far. Already in January, the transfer of 20-year-old defender Mal Gusta from Lyon was agreed. The transfer of Christopher Nkunku was also clear, and they have now been joined by Nicolas Jackson.

As it seems, Chelsea are not going to stop with strengthening the offensive and are considering the acquisition of Argentine footballer Paulo Dybala.

Dybala lured by national teammate

Enzo Fernandez would be delighted with the arrival of his compatriot. He even sent him a text message coaxing him to move to Chelsea.

Paulo Dybala could be an interesting alternative as his exit clause at AS Roma is set at just €12 million for foreign clubs.

Rumours of a possible transfer of the offensive midfielder emerged a few days ago. These speculations were further fuelled by Thiago Silva, who met Dybala at a Formula 1 race. He revealed that they spoke and asked him about his transfer to Chelsea

I saw Dybala here. The media is talking about his transfer, so I asked him if he will actually arrive. He is a world-class player. I would like to play with him. He would be a huge boost. We’ll see what happens, ” he said in an interview with Sky Sport Italia.
