Ever since his arrival, fans of the highly successful English team have expected him to win the biggest trophies. And it is safe to say that Klopp has fulfilled his mission. The sixty-six-year-old German coach has slowly but surely remade Liverpool in his own image. And the successes have come.

In the 2018/19 season, everything turned for the better. At the end of it, the English side celebrated their historic sixth Champions League winners’ trophy with a 2-0 victory over Tottenham in the final. Not only the German coach, it must be said, breathed a loud sigh of relief.

The following season, Klopp also added the English Premier League title to his collection. Liverpool had waited an incredible 30 years for this trophy.

Klopp and the US national team

Klopp finally left the club in the summer of this year. He announced it well in advance and explained that the reason was the need for rest. The work simply wasn’t charging him anymore, but the opposite. But it is understandable that offers just poured in.

Klopp has made it clear that he will take a break, but there is a possibility that he could return in as little as six months. And it could be to one of the national teams, for example, where he works in a completely different way to club football.

The Independent reports that the US national team is interested in the German coach. After all, the United States have already fallen in the group stage at the Copa América tournament at home, and given the strong generation, a world-class coach is also needed if the team is to succeed.

Moreover, the country will also host the World Cup in two years’ time. The national team is supposed to be in contact with the coach, but his position is not known at the moment. However, he would definitely be interested in the job.
