Interest in women’s sport has increased during the pandemic, according to Sky Sports statistics

Viewership and interest in women’s sport has increased by up to 21% during the pandemic. Almost a quarter of men from the UK have become more interested in women’s sport.

In terms of how the new fans are enjoying women’s sports matches and disciplines, the figures are also interesting. Just under 70% of men say they enjoy women’s sport to the full. Their interest has increased greatly.
