Lautaro Martinez had the first chance of the match in the eighth minute, but missed the goal from a good position. On the other side, left back Theo Hernandez took an unconventional shot, but the Argentine international’s attempt was blocked.
In the 18th minute, the favourite was already happy. Francesco Acerbi was unerring in the penalty area and opened the scoring with a header. Four minutes later, Federico Dimarco scored from a direct kick, but this time the AC Milan goalkeeper made the save.

Hernandez could have reduced the deficit in the 52nd minute, but the Swiss Sommer confirmed his form and managed to intervene. On the other side, Hakan Calhanoglu could have made the final decision, but Maignan was able to intervene.
In the 80th minute, Fikayo Tomorim brought the match back to life, reducing the score to 1:2. The VAR subsequently reviewed the offside, but the goal stood. In injury time, Denzel Dumfries of Inter and AC’s Hernandez saw red cards after a scuffle.
After that, Davide Calabria got one more, Inter stood firm in the end and celebrated the championship title early. AC Milan remain second.
